The goal of Heartwood Institute is to allow educators to implement character education into the classroom as smoothly, effectively, and enjoyably as possible. This Resources section will help you from the very beginning by suggesting ways to set up an area of your classroom to support the Heartwood curriculum, offering guidance on conducting classroom discussions, and showcasing specific sample lessons.
In addition, you will find recommended resources for the Pre-K/K, elementary, and middle grade levels, as well as Heartwood's own "Culture Keys" that provide extraordinarily useful background information for books contained in Heartwood's kits.
